PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low energy and simple synthesis method of ceramics.SOLUTION: The novel ceramics synthesis method includes contacting two or more kinds of raw material powders (excluding a combination of an alkali metal compound and vanadium oxide) each other in gas at room temperature, adding a small amount of water, then conducting a solid phase reaction by mixing to obtain crystalline ceramics. In the step of adding water, the weight of added water is set to be 1 or less when the total weight of the raw material powders is assumed to be 1. Preferably, the method should include a step of accommodating a mixture obtained in the mixing step in a sealed or semi-sealed vessel and low temperature heating the mixture while maintaining the temperature of the vessel at 50°C to 250°C.
