In an aspect of the present disclosure, an instruction set is generated that implements a rule designed to update a specified object according to an application data model. In one embodiment, a rule designed to update an object is processed to form a set of (rules) buckets such that each bucket includes rules that do not have interdependencies in terms of execution order . Then, for each bucket, a subset of rules designed to update common objects is determined and a corresponding single instruction set is generated for each determined subset of rules. The instruction set generated for the subset of rules contained in each bucket is then executed simultaneously.
