PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a trouble of a user for performing a highly accurate document investigation efficiently at a low cost.SOLUTION: A client side processor 100, which is a document investigation support device, includes an arithmetic unit 104 that executes: a process of searching a predetermined document database stored in a document search device 300 on the basis of search conditions, requesting the document database for information on a newest document in a document group of a type same as at least that of documents included in a search result, and storing the information in a LIST file 126 as filtering information; and a process of performing re-searching of the document database on the aforementioned search conditions after a predetermined lapse of time, specifying an output document by eliminating documents, among the documents included in the search result, older than the newest document for which a corresponding document type is set by the filtering information, and outputting the output document to a predetermined device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
