PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing device and a curing method capable of preventing scattering of welding sparks when welding is carried out over a long extension.SOLUTION: The curing device includes a container 4 and a wheel. The container 4 mounted on a beam 2 to be movable on the beam 2 is a box body which includes a bottom plate 41, wall plates 43 of both sides, and one end plate 42, and in which a welding surface 31 and the other end plate 42 are open. The bottom plate 41 has an opening part 44 through which a fitting girder 3 can be exposed, and in the lower surface of the bottom plate 41, an on-beam wheel 51 traveling on a beam 2 welding surface 31 and a side surface wheel 52 traveling on the side surface of the fitting girder 3 are provided. The end plate 42 is configured by including an on-girder wheel 53 traveling on the welding surface 31 of the fitting girder 3.
