PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a method that enables an estimation so as to get a long term transition of a townscape closer to a real change in consideration even to wills of people living in a district or behaviors thereof.SOLUTION: A method is configured to: execute a building inhabitant modeling step (S1) of preparing a building inhabitant model modeling each building existing in a district of an estimation object together with an inhabitant; execute a rebuild behavior estimation step (S2) of estimating whether to rebuild or not for each building according to a rebuild behavior model modeling a rebuild behavior by reduction in performance due to a secular change in the building and a will of the inhabitant due to the secular change therein, and calculating a content of each item defined in the rebuild behavior model; execute an appearance selection estimation step (S3) of selecting an appearance of the building according to an appearance selection model modeling a will of selecting an appearance, while being affected by an influence of a neighboring townscape upon rebuilding; and put forward a setting point of time by a determined year/month, and repeat (S4) the rebuild behavior estimation step (S2) and the appearance selection estimation step (S3).
