PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological tissue model for surgery practice that has appropriate hydrophilicity, and has tactile, hardness and physical characteristics serving as a reaction upon an incision, which are the same as with an actual biological tissue, and causes no residue in an incision simulation employing a bipolar forceps.SOLUTION: As a raw material, an average degree of polymerization is 300 to 3500, and a first saponification polyvinyl alcohol solution and a second saponification polyvinyl alcohol solution, which are respectively different in a saponification degree are blended at a predetermined ratio. For example, the saponification polyvinyl alcohol solution of a saponification degree of 97-99 mol% is mixed with the saponification polyvinyl alcohol solution of a saponification degree of 72.5-74.5 mol% in a range of the mixture ratio of from 7:3 to 4:6, and then, a partial saponification polyvinyl alcohol mixture solution blended to the average saponification degree of 50 mol% or more and less than 90 mol% is as the raw material. The raw material is hardened by use of a coagulating agent or a crosslinking agent, and a biological tissue model for surgery practice is fabricated that simulates a part of a biological tissue.
