A camera that captures a video image in a series of frames includes an image sensor having a pixel array. Each pixel receives the image and accumulates charge representing the image in the frame. The camera also includes a pixel processor that samples each pixel output of the image sensor during the middle portion of the frame to generate a signal representative of the image.
