PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, while retaining softness of a body part of a fastening tape, the body part from being damaged and torn.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a fastening tape includes: a connecting step of obtaining a laminate 10 of a sheet member by connecting in the longitudinal direction a belt-like fastening sheet 12 to one surface of a belt-like base material sheet 11; a dividing step of forming a central cutting line 20 extending in the longitudinal direction so as to divide the laminate 10 into two, the right and left, in a width direction; and a separating step of forming a separating line 30 extending in the width direction so as to be connected to the central cutting line 20, and obtaining an individual fastening tape 100. Furthermore, the method includes before the separating step, a reinforcing step of forming a reinforcement part 40 obtained by pressing or melting the laminate 10 in a planned portion for forming the separating line 30, and in the separating step, the separating line 30 is formed so as to at least partially overlap the reinforcement part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
