PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging point changing pulley mechanism that makes it possible to hang a heavy load incapable of being hung from directly above safely and efficiently, and provide a hanging method of the heavy load using the same.SOLUTION: A hanging point changing pulley mechanism 10 is provided for changing an arrangement of hanging equipment 15 from the upper part of a hanging position P of a heavy load 13 to a laterally displaced position. The hanging point changing pulley mechanism has: a first pulley 17 disposed below the hanging equipment 15, and guiding the moving direction laterally while coming into contact with wire 16 of the hanging equipment 15 and keeping the moving direction of the wire 16 in the vertical direction of an area right under the hanging equipment 15; a second pulley 18 disposed from the first pulley 17 by providing a distance laterally, and coming into contact with the wire 16 passing the first pulley 17 and guiding the moving direction of the wire 16 to the hanging position P of the heavy load 13; a bracket 19 for holding the first and second pulleys 17, 18; and a joint 21 for fixing the bracket 19 to the upper part of the heavy load 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
