PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for specifically detecting Enterobacter sp. having a cellulose synthase function comprising Enterobacter sp. CJF-002 strain.SOLUTION: The invention provides a primer set having two kinds of specific base sequences which specifically amplify a specific region in a cellulose synthase gene (cesA gene) of Enterobacter sp. CJF-002 strain. The Enterobacter sp. having a cellulose synthase function can be detected by using in combination with these primers. The primer set can also be used in combination with primers containing a complementary base sequence to the two kinds of primers.
