PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system capable of setting a partial monitoring region corresponding to a degree of monitoring in the monitoring region and easily setting the partial monitoring region at a desired position.SOLUTION: A CPU 151 of a setting terminal 150 of a monitoring device 110, upon acquisition of movement instructions from a display correction first partial monitoring region DSA1 displayed in a display 156, makes the display correction first partial monitoring region DSA1 move along the acquired movement instructions. The movement instructions are provided to the CPU 151 by sliding a finger toward the desired direction after a user selects and presses the display correction first partial monitoring region DSA1 long using a touch panel function of the display 156. The CPU 151 calculates a position of a movable housing 110b after the movement for the base housing 110a according to the movement of the display correction first partial monitoring region DSA1 so as to be displayed in a movable housing position display column TA.
