PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network switching device which can level loads in a plurality of task processing sections to perform processing using the arithmetic capacity of a multi-core processor efficiently.SOLUTION: A network switching device 1 has: a plurality of task processing sections 3a-3d for performing processing in accordance with a network of an output destination to inputted packets; a task allocation section 2 for determining the task processing section which performs the task to process the inputted packets and allocating the task to the task processing section; and a task moving section 4 for acquiring a CPU usage rate for each task processing section and moving the task allocated to one task processing section according to the CPU usage rate to another task processing section.
