PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate even further an inspection of a support part of a railway bridge.SOLUTION: An abnormality detection method at a support part of a railway bridge comprises: an acceleration data obtaining step in which a change in acceleration of vibration of a bridge girder is measured when a train passes, using an acceleration sensor fitted on a railway bridge 10, and the measurement results are obtained; a wavelet transform step in which wavelet transform is performed for the measurement results obtained in the acceleration data obtaining step, and a scalogram is obtained that indicates a chronological change in an intensity of a frequency component with regard to the change in acceleration; and a judgment step in which a situation is judged as abnormal when an amount of change of the intensity in the scalogram along with time falls below a predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
