PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper wire rod, a copper wire drawn rod and copper flat wire which are excellent in surface quality and suitable for conductor materials, a coated copper rod using provided with a conductor using the materials, method of producing a copper rod, a method of producing a copper wire drawn rod and a method of producing a copper flat wire.SOLUTION: A copper wire rod is produced by subjecting an up-cast material obtained by pull-up casting to conform extrusion. A method of producing a copper wire rod includes a preparation step of preparing an up-cast material obtained by pull-up casting and an extrusion step of subjecting the up-cast material to conform extrusion.
