PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor compression refrigerator capable of suppressing an increase in the number of components and suppressing a rise in a discharge temperature.SOLUTION: Refrigerant in a gas-liquid two-phase state decompressed by a second decompressor 13 is injected into a compressor 9 responsible for compression processing. The refrigerant compressed in a first compression process by a first compressor 9A to be heated is cooled by evaporation of the injected liquid-phase refrigerant. The gas-phase refrigerant discharged from the first compressor 9A as well as the injected gas-phase refrigerant and the refrigerant vaporized and gasified by the injection is attracted into a second compressor 9B and discharged toward a high-pressure heat exchanger 3. Owing to this, a heating degree of the gas-phase refrigerant attracted into the second compressor 9B decreases, so that it is possible to suppress the temperature of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 9 after being subjected to a second compression process from excessively rising.
