PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for charging a charging material in a bell less blast furnace, capable of stabilizing a peripheral flow rising along the furnace wall of the blast furnace.SOLUTION: The method for charging a charging material in a bell less blast furnace includes alternately laminarly charging a C batch of coke and an O batch of ore. The charges of 4 batches C, C, Oand Oare performed in the order of the steps of: forming an inclination coke layer having a Cbatch downward inclined toward the center of the furnace from the furnace wall side; charging a Cbatch in the central part of the furnace; charging an Obatch from the furnace wall toward the center to form a horizontal type terrace having approximately horizontal shape on the furnace wall side and an inclination ore layer downward inclined toward the center of the furnace from the furnace inner side tip of the horizontal type terrace; and charging an Obatch on the horizontal type terrace of the Obatch layer. The Obatch consists of a fine grain ore having a size of more than 3 mm and 6 mm or less.
