PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-contamination processing method for an RO membrane, which is excellent in the persistence of an anti-contamination processing effect and in flux stability.SOLUTION: A betaine compound having a polyalkylene oxide chain is made to contact an RO film. The polyalkylene oxide chain is preferred to be a polyethylene oxide chain. The betaine compound having the polyalkylene oxide chain has a higher absorptivity to the RO film than a co-polymerization polymer between a betaine group monomer having a hydrophobic group such as a methyl group, a butyl group and so on used in the prior art and a (meta) acrylic acid ester group monomer, can continue an anti stain resistance for a longer time, and suppresses a flux reduction.
