PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loss of sales opportunities.SOLUTION: An EC server receives a request for sale of goods from a consumer terminal; an inventory management supporting apparatus, when the EC server receives the request for sale of goods, transmits a request for back order to a sales store terminal, receives a consent to back order indicating a consent to sell the goods from the inventory of the store of the store terminal transmitted in response to the transmitted request for back order from the store terminal, upon receiving the consent to sell transmits to the consumer terminal a back order result indicating the availability of the goods for sale; and the store terminal receives a request for back order transmitted from the inventory management supporting apparatus, upon receiving the request for back order accepts inputting of a consent to sell the goods to the consumer from the inventory of the store and, upon inputting of the consent to back ordering, transmits to the inventory management supporting apparatus the consent to back order.
