PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unpacking device of a can lid package and an unpacking method of the can lid package which can prevent can lids from being loosened and scattered when unpacking the can lid package, improve productivity by transferring the unpacked can lids to a subsequent process smoothly, suppress the generation of paper powder during unpacking, and simplify the structure of the device without enlarging the structure.SOLUTION: An unpacking device 1 of a can lid package unpacks a can lid package Z having a cylindrical package X made of a paper material and a plurality of can lids Y accommodated inside the package X in a stacked state. The unpacking device 1 of the can lid package comprises: a clamp part 2 for supporting the package X, which can come into contact with package X of the can lid package Z from a radial direction orthogonal to an axis line O in a state of placing the can lid package Z vertically so that the axis line O is along a vertical direction; and a push-in part 3 which is in contact with an end face E along a direction of the axis line O of the package X and can push the end face E in the axis line O direction.
