PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharging pressure control device and a supercharging pressure control method of an internal combustion engine with a supercharger capable of reliably and fully closing a waste gate valve.SOLUTION: A supercharging pressure control device of an internal combustion engine with a supercharger comprises: a waste gate valve (WGV) 112 which adjusts a flow rate of gas flowing in a bypass passage 102 bypassing an exhaust turbine 111; and an actuator 15 which is fixed to a housing 100 and adjusts an opening of the WGV 112 by being connected thereto through a link mechanism 16. The supercharging pressure control device of the internal combustion engine also has: an opening adjustment section S124 which adjusts an opening of the WGV 112 on the basis of a deviation between an actual opening and a target opening of the WGV 112; and a full closure control section S125 which releases opening adjustment by the opening adjustment section 124 and closes the WGV 112 with a predetermined operation amount so that the WGV 112 is seated on a valve seat when the actual opening of the WGV 112 is smaller than a predetermined opening near a full closure with full closure instruction of the WGV 112 issued.
