PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a reinforcing body with freely widening diameter that uses a partial cylindrical body, and an aseismic reinforcement method for an existing earth structure using the reinforcing body that may be used effectively for stabilizing and reinforcing a slope surface and reinforcing an existing retaining wall and a rear surface of a bridge abutment, by adopting the reinforcing body of which the diameter may be widened that includes a mechanism for widening/contracting the diameter by reversing a direction of rotation.SOLUTION: A reinforcing body includes a drilling rod 1 into which a core material 6 is inserted, and a diameter widening part 2 and a mixing and agitation part 3 disposed outside thereof. The diameter widening part 2 is of a partial cylindrical form reinforced with a diagonal rib on a drilling part on a pull-out side. The mixing and agitation part 3 includes a vertical rib 3-1, a lateral rib 3-2, and a triangular plate 3-3. A rotary diameter-widening mixing and agitation mechanism is provided as a mechanism for controlling rotation of the diameter widening part 2 and the mixing and agitation part 3, the mechanism including a rotation stopper 4 disposed at a root of the vertical rib 3-1, and a stopper receiving plate 5 disposed on the drilling rod 1.
