PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grab bucket type unloader which prevents debris of a bulk cargo and dust from flying and scattering from an openable bucket when the bulk cargo is loaded.SOLUTION: A grab bucket type unloader 1A includes: a lower structure body 10 having legs 11; and an upper structure body 20 supported by an upper end part of the lower structure body 10. The upper structure body 20 includes: a trolley 24 which moves along a boom 22; a wire rope 25 suspended through the trolley 24; and a bucket 26 which is supported by the wire rope 25 so as to open and close. The unloader 1A includes a cylindrical scattering prevention member 31 which is attached to the trolley 24 and vertically expands and contracts. The scattering prevention member 31 expands downward to cover the outer periphery side of the bucket 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
