Illumination device for color sorter

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small luminaire for color sorter excellent in durability and low electric power.SOLUTION: A luminaire for color sorter includes a long chassis 2 for heat dissipation, an LED substrate 3 installed on the chassis 2, and a light source 5 in which a number of LED elements 4 are arranged straight in a longitudinal direction on the LED substrate 3. On the LED substrate 3, an illuminance sensor 6 is placed on adjacent of the LED element 4, and a control device 12 which maintains illuminance of the light source 5 constant by illuminance data from the illuminance sensor 6 is provided.
