PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain formulations that promote productions of Kallikrein related peptidase, LEKTI, and SLPI, normalize Corneodesmosome degradation, and normalize keratinization, such as a horny layer thickening or inhibition of turnover delay.SOLUTION: By using one or more kinds of brown alga extracts selected from Eisenia arborea Areschoug extract and Fucus extract as an active ingredient, formulations that promote productions of kallikrein related peptidase, LEKTI, and SLPI, normalize Corneodesmosome degradation, and by extension normalize keratinization can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
