PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction apparatus, when a door of a bill stacker or a coin stacker is opened from the automatic transaction apparatus, capable of detecting missing of cash from the bill stacker or the coin stacker and specifying a situation of the missing of the bills or the like, cash-in-drawer management method of the automatic transaction apparatus, and automatic transaction system.SOLUTION: The automatic transaction apparatus includes: stackers that are fixed to the inside of a housing of the automatic transaction apparatus and temporarily store bills or coins for deposit/withdrawal; a memory that stores information of the number of bills or coins stored in the stackers; and a control section. The control section detects that keys for opening/closing the doors of the stackers are operated, when detecting a key operation for closing a door of a stacker, counts the number of bills or coins stored in the stacker, compares the information of the number of bills or coins stored in the memory with the number of bills or coins counted by a counting section to determine whether or not to match each other and, when determining not to match, transmits the determination result to a host computer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
