The invention relates to apH mediated cell delivery vehicle comprising: a cargo or a cargo-binding molecule for binding to a cargo; a protein transduction domain; and a glycosaminoglycan (GAG) binding element, which is capable of binding to GAG on the surface of the cell, wherein the GAG binding element is a peptide which is modified to comprise one or more histidine residues which are capable of being protonated in an acidic environment.
