An electronic circuit for adding voltages used in experiments to record the electrical activity of neurons with combined techniques of patch clamp and Dynamic Clamp.With the intention of manipulating individual conductances in neurons.We have developed a parallel Voltage Adder that enables the simultaneous use of an Amplifier to record the electrical activity of the cell at the same time allowing for the implementationThe Technique of dynamic Clamp.The latter allows to modify in real time the Kinetic Properties of a specific ion Channel and to study the effect on the electrophysiological behavior of the Neuron.
