PERSONAL DOSIMETER FOR ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION IN THE VISUAL SYSTEM

The personal dosimeter for ultraviolet radiation finds application in the field of medicine, in particular in ophthalmology. It is intended for personal measurement of ultraviolet radiation in the study of pathological changes in the visual system and behavioural habits as a function of the cumulative effect of ultraviolet radiation. The dosimeter has an electronic unit (5) comprising a communication module (7), an ultraviolet sensor module (6) and a flash memory (8). The communication module (7) is electrically connected to the ultraviolet sensor module (6) and the flash memory (8). The UV sensor module performs single or multiple periodic measurements and the results are sent to the communication module (7), which periodically sends, via a wireless telecommunication channel, the measurement data.
