collimator for restricting and modeling a radiation beam beam emanating from an x-ray radiation source, computed tomography device and method for controlling a computed tomography device. The present invention relates to collimators (3) for creating a radiation fan beam comprising at least two slot openings (4, 4 ', 4 ") downstream of an x-ray source, wherein at least least two slit apertures (4, 4 ', 4 ") are of the same dimension and are capable of being moved relative to the x-ray radiation source, wherein an x-ray filter (8) is disposed in the area of a of the slit apertures (4, 4 ', 4 "). The invention further relates to a computed tomography device with such a collimator (3) as well as a method for controlling such a computed tomography device.
