The classification model was structured in four hierarchical levels. the input variables were determined according to characteristics indicating hazardousness and the output variables with degree of hazardousness. The fuzzy inference method used was the mamdani and the defuzzification method was the center of the area. Thus, it was possible to obtain the results according to the proposed objective, which classified the waste indicating its degree of danger to human health and the environment to a certain amount, which is the case of lead that has a very low amount. , but was classified as "dangerous" because its input variables indicate hazardousness. Another example is sodium dichromate, which is dangerous and because it has an extremely high amount it was classified as "extremely dangerous". With this, you can use this classification as a decision tool for the management of hazardous waste generated, according to its reality, and for the elaboration of a management model for chemicals and their respective waste, which will enable the reduction of waste. , the minimization of the generation of hazardous waste for final disposal and the replacement of purchased chemicals in consideration of their hazardousness. Therefore, this model allows the use of products in a more sustainable and economical way.
