ASymmetric cryptography based on scalar product for circular and rectangular interval searches on spatial data

Although spatial database applications and location-based systems require multiple searches of spatial data, related work to encrypt spatial data can perform a limited set of operations, restricting its use in real applications. This patent proposes an encryption scheme that allows the execution of circular search, rectangular search and the search operation by the n nearest neighbors on encoded spatial data.
