The invention is described a process for obtaining inorganic adsorbents based on yttrium silicates, crystalline porous by synthesizing via hydrothermal in the process of sol-gel chemistry.The temperature between 200 to 270 u00b0 C, using at least one source of yttrium.Alone or in combination with other sources of yttrium; a source of silicon, a base inorganic strong base; an organic and a salt stabilizer based on chlorides, bromides, or fluorides.By providing a product potentially useful as adsorbent agent due to its high specificity for heavy cations such as lead (Pb2 +), cadmium (Cd2 +), barium (Ba2 +), strontium (Sr2 +)As well as adsorbent of radioactive metals and harmful to human health and the environment.
