This paper describes biochemical pathways for the production of 2 - aminopimelato from 2,6 - diaminopimelato and methods for the conversion of 2 - aminopimelato in one or more of adipic acid.Succinic acid, adipate, caprolactam, 6 - aminohexanoico acid, 6 - hexanoico, hexametilenediamina or 1.6 - hexanediol by decarboxylation of 2 - aminopimelato in a main chain aliphatic with 6 carbons and the formation of enzymatic mode of one or two terminal functional groups.Compounds with carboxyl group or hydroxyl, amine, in the main chain.
