A network node 200, a wireless device 202 and methods thereof for decoding uplink transmissions based on data containment in a cell served by the network node are described. network node 200 registers wireless device for data-containing uplink transmissions on a radio resource reserved for data-containing uplink transmissions, for example, during reception registration request sent from the wireless device such that the wireless device 202 is included in a set of wireless devices 200 that are registered for data-containing uplink transmissions on the radio feature in the cell. network node 200 then performs blind decoding of uplink signals transmitted on the radio resource by consideration of the wireless devices in the array. thus decoding is made more efficient by disregarding any other wireless devices in the cell that are not registered for uplink transmissions based on data containment in the radio resource in the cell.
