medium voltage panel retrofitting device comprising a series of first and second horizontal contacts cb aligned in the foreground and background, a series of first and second vertical swg contacts aligned in the foreground and first plane, first bus assembly comprising first connecting elements for connecting each of said first horizontal cb contacts to a corresponding first vertical swg contact, second bus assembly comprising second connecting elements for connecting each of said second horizontal cb contacts to a corresponding second vertical swg contact, wherein said first connecting elements comprise a first part and a second part interconnected with each other and free to change their angular position in a vertical plane when in an unlocked condition, wherein said second connecting elements comprise a third part and a portion thereof. A part is interconnected and free to change the angular position of each other in the vertical plane when in an unlocked condition, wherein first locking means are provided for locking the first and second parts and the third and fourth parts in desired position, in which the said first horizontal contacts cb and said second horizontal contacts cb are positioned substantially on the same vertical plane.
