Synchronization signal (ss) is generated by at least one phase locked circuit (4) of a main electrical signal (if) received from the electrical power system. The phase locked circuit (4) comprises a controller scheme with a series of gain parameters (kmn) for eliminating at least some of the deviations of the synchronization signal (ss) with respect to the main electrical signal (se) and the said parameters. The gain (kmn) is adjusted depending on the frequency and amplitude of said main electrical signal (if).
