a method for forming a catalytically treated pyrolytic vapor product from pyrolysable material, the method comprising burning fuel in a fluidized bed boiler, thereby heating part of the particulate material; transferring at least part of the heated particulate material or part of another heated particulate material to a pyrolysis reactor to pyrolyze part of the pyrolysable material into the pyrolysis reactor; and transporting at least part of the pyrolytic vapor through a catalyst bed comprising catalyst material; and transport at least part of the upstream co-products back into the process; thereby producing the resource efficient catalytically treated pyrolytic vapor product. furthermore, a system configured to produce catalytically treated pyrolytic vapor product from pyrolysable material. the system comprises a fluidized bed boiler; a pyrolysis reactor; a catalytic reactor; means for conveying part of the heated particulate material to the pyrolysis reactor; a pipe for carrying at least part of the pyrolytic vapor from the pyrolysis reactor to the catalytic reactor and means for transporting at least part of the upstream co-products back to the co-product thermal and chemical energy recovery process.
