Methods, systems and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless communication system may use a Listening Before Speaking (LBT) procedure prior to transmission. A base station can perform an enhanced clean channel (ecca) assessment on one channel and a simple clean channel (cca) assessment on another channel. the base station may then send a lease to a user equipment (eu) to transmit on both channels. the eu may receive the lease and perform a simple cca on the first channel and an ecca on the second channel. the eu can then transmit uplink information on the first channel and the second channel. that is, the base station may send an opportunistic lease for transmission on the second channel even if it has not passed the ecca on the base station. You can then use the channel if it passes an ecca.
