"casein kinase ii phosphorylation site binding peptides, pharmaceutical composition, use of peptides, and mammalian cell expression vector". peptides useful for the treatment of tumors of epithelial origin and especially those associated with oncogenic papilloma virus (hpv) types. identification of peptides whose structure allows the blockage of the casein kinase (ckii) phosphorylation domain by direct interaction with said site. Eleven peptides of different cyclic structure and amino acid sequence are shown in the present invention which inhibit the ckii phosphorylation site in vitro, produce cytotoxicity in hpv-16 (caski) transformed human cervical carcinoma cells , increase the sensitivity of said cells to the cytostatic effect of interferon (ifn). The invention further relates to the use of mimetic molecules of both peptide and chemical origin.
