A system for removing chloride ion from solutions circulating in industrial processes, designed as a sub-system that is connected in-line to an existing industrial system, in which chloride is transferred from a main aqueous flow to an aqueous flow of lower volume, without affecting said industrial system chemically, using a solution contaminated with chlorine as feed and recovering a chlorine-free solution, in which the sub-system of the invention acts together with a complex filter emulating a kidney and comprising means, connected to distribution pipes or tubing, for coupling solutions; the system incorporates valves and flow meters; at least two solution propulsion means; at least two energisation systems; electrolytic means; a means for discarding solutions with a high chloride ion content; a chemical sub-process for producing commercial byproducts; a diluate (D) and a concentrate (C); it includes a sequential process.
