Live attenuated strain of Salmonella enterica for oral vaccination of farm animals

The live attenuated strain of the zoopathogenic microorganism Salmonella entericaCAPM 6449, which is attenuated by two independent modifications, is intended for oral vaccination of chickens and is deposited in the Collection of zoopathogenic microorganisms in Brno, CZ. This strain of the microorganism Salmonella enterica, which simultaneously carries the SPI-1 mutation inactivating the function of the secretion system type III encoded by the SPI-1 pathogenic island and the lon mutation inactivating the Lon protease function, is suitable for the production of a live attenuated vaccine for breeding protection, especially of chickens.
