PROCEDURE FOR OPTIMIZING A MULTIPRODUCT FILTER BANK AND CONDITIONING FILTER BANK AND HARDWARE

The method involves determining a group delay time for a pair of values of parameters. An operation rate for the pair of values is determined. A sampling rate cumulated over partial bands of an input-sided filter bank is determined as a data rate. One of the pair of values is selected by the data rate with which the delay time and the operation rate meet a preset criterion that the delay time and the operation rate are low. The input-sided filter bank is configured with an input channel number (Kein) and an oversampling factor (Uein) corresponding to the pair of values.
