The method relates to the field of research or analysis of materials using thermal means using calorimetric measurements by measuring the heat capacity or thermal conductivity. The method for measuring the heat capacity of materials according to the adiabatic calorimeter scheme is that the choice of the starting point for determining the sample heating temperature in the calorimeter with periodic fluctuations in the sample temperature is such that the rate of temperature change at a given time interval is minimal and the temperature measurement point is preceded by a growth site or the temperature of the sample. This method can also be implemented in such a way that measurements of heat capacity are made twice: when the starting point is preceded by a portion of the temperature rise of the sample and when the starting point is preceded by a portion of its fall, then the average value for the heat capacity of the material at a given temperature is calculated. This method can be performed in the form of a series of measurements. Using this method allows you to reduce the time spent on research, as well as reduce the measurement error. In this case, the proposed method does not limit the possible measurement modes — measurements can be carried out both during heating and during cooling with different temperature steps.
