A SYSTEM FOR CHARACTERIZATION OF ELECTRO-EXPLOSIVE DEVICE AND A METHOD THEREOF

The present invention provides a diagnostic system, and a method thereof for electric characterization of electro-explosive device which are widely used for commercial and military application. The system invented provides predefined pulses for characterization of electrical sensitivity of electro-explosive devices. The number of pulses input such as the On-pulse width and Off-pulse duration is configured by a user using a user interface. The user input is thereby transmitted from a user input device to a signal generating module that is configured to generate electrical pulse signal for characterizing electro-explosive device. This diagnostic system is used to characterize the No Fire Current, All Fire Current, Stray Voltage Sensitivity, and Capacitor Discharge Unit of electro explosive devices.
