AN IMPROVED MULTI-FUEL COOKSTOVE WITH ADJUSTABLE FUEL GRATE MECHANISM

The present invention is related to the design and fabrication of an improved cook stove with adjustable shaped frame mechanisms hinged to fuel grate with or without stepladder support, which facilitates multiple grate positions inside the combustion chamber for multi-fuel application. A forced draft optional retrofitment attached to the primary air window of a natural draft cookstove, which facilities the use of high density fuels for top loading operations allowing the cookstoves to be operated in hybrid modes; perforated insulating mesh encapsulating the cookstoves enabling user safety; modified fuel grate made with perforated hollow pipes for supplying forced or natural air to the combusting fuel; modified he1 grate made with corrugated loading rods which increases the fuel to air contact. Briefly stated, the invention in the preferred form is an improved clean cookstove with low cost design for adaptability to multiple fuels. By simply adjusting the L shaped fuel gates up and down, the combustion chamber volume as wells as the distance between the fuel grate and pot decreases and thermal efficiency of the stove increases effectively. Other innovations like stepladder or staircase are to support the adjustable fuel grate. Forced draft attachment invention was designed to provide better air flow, which ensures complete combustion of the fuel and reduce emissions from the coosktove while using low or high density fuels. The safety mesh designed for the cookstove ensures high user safety with minimal functionality and cost. The cookstove has been tested for thermal efficiency and emissions and shows desired performance.
