In the manufacture of different types of plywood cither urea formaldehyde or phenol formaldehyde is used-as a binder in developing countries, under developed countries and also in developed countries (Worldwide). These urea formaldehyde and phenol formaldehyde are non degradable polymers, they do not undergo degradation and they cause soil pollution and water pollution and as such are harmful to the environment. It decreases the fertility of the soil and increases the pollution potential of water, which spread the different diseases among the human being, therefore it necessary to avoid this problem. By using alternate eco-friendly binder we can overcome the problem.
