A ˜BASE PLATE™ FOR MOUNTING THE LED DRIVER IN AN INDUSTRIAL LED LIGHT FIXTURES

The present invention relates to a ˜Base plate™ for mounting the ˜led Driver™ or power supply in industrial and commercial LED light fixtures. Industrial (and commercial) led light fixtures, (sometimes also referred to as highbay� LED lights) are widely used for illumination of warehouses, factories, go-downs, ports, railway stations, halls and at various other places. The base plate performs 5 distinct functions. These are: 1. Provides support for the mounting of the Led driver 2. Isolation of LED driver from rest of the LED light 3. Isolation of LED driver from direct heat coming from the LEDs via heatsink. Special ˜studs™ at the bottom (5 Nos) creat space between the baseplate and the underlying Heatsink� which dissipates the LED heat. 4. Receives the bolts from the LIGHT COVER� (Bearing patent no. 3686/MUM/2015), so as to complete the assembly of the light fixture. The novelty of the present invention lies in its design which fulfills the above mentioned functions.
