A method and apparatus for avoiding the Railway Train Collisions by using the following techniques: a) Secure Communication among all the personnel involved in running the trains. b) Double Checking and Ensuring the accurate execution of all the steps related to any action, before giving the permission to do that action. c) Close monitoring and automatic logging of the errors related to all the actions by various people involved in running the Trains. d) Providing alternate (redundant) methods of communication to avoid the sole dependency on any unit and thus enhance the safety of the overall system. e) Providing a cost effective and long lasting solution. f) Providing a solution that can be implemented gradually. g) Using the state-of-the-art technology like Internet-of-Things, to provide a long lasting and upgradable solution.
