The present invention relates to a method for cost effective mobile communication for subscribers while roaming using a cloud switch. The method for mobile communication while roaming comprises steps of: change in registration of a subscriber of a home network is detected at a visited network. The subscribers IMSI switched to a local operators IMSI, said local operator is selected from a cloud switch depending on the location of the subscriber. The cloud switch allocates local IMSI and/or MSISDN dynamically and make sure that roaming subscribers are latched using local IMSI in local networks to reduce the cost of roaming services.
