The invention is a printed circuit board (PCB) which achieves secured automation in wireless temperature control with reduced power wastage in heater coils of electric heater based machineries. The PCB proposed is of low cost, high efficiency and long life which is more suited for foundry machineries. In this work the system uses a single board controller with four channels and K type thermocouple for measurement. At the break time the system can automatically on and off the heater coils as given time this may use to reduce the power conception Moreover the system uses Zigbee for secure communication between the system and the server. The functionality of PCB is verified in an existing machinery in foundry to achieve a temperature error of plus or minus 6 degree Celsius, and the acceptable range for the foundry industries is plus or minus10 degree Celsius. This system provides temperature monitoring and controlling of the process and provides the means to evaluate the equipment™s current condition and detect the failures in thermocouples and the heater coils at an early stage. The system software at the server can be used to monitor and control the temperature set point, temperature upper and lower limits with authorized access.
